Health & Safety
What safety protocols are in place?
The safety of our visitors and event attendees is a top priority. Measures include:
- Bag searches will be in place in line with Martyn’s Law
- Managed one-way entry system
- No outside food or drink permitted in line with venue regulations. Onsite food and drink available to purchase throughout the event.
- St John Ambulance and trained first aiders on site
- Professional security staff.
Tickets & Entry
Do I need to book tickets?
No. This is a free event. There’s no need to book, just come along and enjoy. Please note that capacity is limited, so we recommend arriving early to avoid disappointment.
Is there an age restriction for this event?
No. The event is open to all ages. Valid ID will be required for alcohol purchases.
Food & Drinks
Will food and drinks be available?
Yes. A variety of food and drink options will be available including:
– The Boathouse indoor café
– Outdoor ice cream kiosk
– Outdoor bar & food
– Portable bar, food & ice cream.
Can I bring my own food or drinks?
No. Outside food and drink is not permitted, with the exception of baby food & drink.
What Can You Bring?
What items are allowed / not-allowed?
Small bags are permitted, and bag searches will be conducted on entry.
Prohibited items include:
- Weapons
– Illegal substances
– Glass containers
– Outside food and drink (except baby food and drink)
– Professional recording equipment without prior approval.
Travel & Parking
Is parking available?
Yes. Limited parking is available on-site. Please expect it to be very busy. We strongly encourage visitors to consider alternative transport options where possible.

Weather Poilicy
What happens if it rains?
The event will go ahead rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
Accessibility & Facilities
Is the venue accessible?
Yes. Arrow Valley Country Park and Visitor Centre offers accessible facilities, including:
- Indoor and outdoor accessible toilets (including baby changing)
- Indoor seating and shaded areas at The Boathouse Café
- Natural shaded spaces within the park
- Beer garden shelter.
Photography & Recording
Can I take photos or videos?
Yes. Personal photography is allowed.
The Rubicon Leisure Team will be taking photos and filming throughout the event for use on our social media and website channels. Please inform a member of staff know if you would prefer not to be included.
Are Dogs Allowed?
Yes. Dogs are allowed at Sounds in the Grounds but must be kept on a lead at all times. Please be aware that there will be loud music throughout the event.
