Set in the heart of 900 acres of Arrow Valley Country Park, the Boathouse Café is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy beautiful lakeside views. Whether you are meeting friends for a coffee or stopping for something to eat after a walk, it is an ideal spot to relax. Even better, we are dog friendly, so your four legged companions can enjoy the visit too.
While you are here, make the most of the great outdoors with a wide range of activities, including walking trails, orienteering, sailing, fishing, disc golf, and seasonal water activities. We also offer event hosting and room hire, making the Boathouse Café a great choice for celebrations and gatherings.

Our Café, Bar and Ice Cream Kiosk
The Boathouse Café, bar and ice cream kiosk offers a lovely range of hot and cold food, drinks, snacks, ice cream and more for you to enjoy.
Water Activities
Fancy a bit of an adventure on the lake? In the warmer months our water activities, offer something for everyone. Whether you would like a gentle trip on one of our swan pedalos, a fun session with friends on our kayaks or paddle boards, or a romantic moment together in a rowing boat, there is plenty to enjoy out on the lake.
Other Activities
As well as fun out on the lake, we have plenty of other activities to enjoy. You can take part in open water swimming, spend some time at our fishing pegs, explore the walking trails around the park and more. There is also a Parkrun every Saturday for anyone who fancies a lively start to the weekend.
Room Hire
We have a range of opportunities here for room hire. Our conference room is perfect for training sessions and corporate meet ups, while our mezzanine is ideal for baby showers and small gatherings. You can even hire the whole café in the evening for a private event. We also offer a selection of buffet and food packages for you to enjoy.
Events
We host a wonderful range of events throughout the year, from our popular murder mystery evenings to our flagship music event Sounds in the Grounds, along with plenty of other activities for everyone to enjoy.
