Parking at Arrow Valley

Where to park when visiting the lake, park, café, bar, kiosk, and water activities.

Arrow Valley Country Park offers nine convenient car parks, providing easy access to our beautiful lake, scenic parkland, vibrant café, bar, handy kiosk, and a variety of water activities.

To help you plan your visit, we’ve provided details on each parking location, along with maps and google map links to guide you to your preferred destination. Whether you’re here for a peaceful lakeside walk, a family day out, or an adventure on the water, we’ve got the perfect spot for you to park and enjoy your visit.

Car Park 1

Located opposite the Boathouse this car park includes designated disabled parking for easy access. (B98 0LJ)
Whether you’re stopping by for a lakeside stroll, a bite to eat, or some fun on the water, these car parks provide the perfect starting point for your visit however in the peak season they can get very busy so you may want to look at the seven other car parks close by.

Car Park 2

Located at the entrance on the left, near Lidl, from this car park you can enjoy a 5 minute scenic walk past the lake, leading down to the café.

Car Park 3

Just an eight-minute walk from The Boathouse, you’ll find additional parking on Proctors Barn Lane (B98 8PT). This route takes you past the rowing club and through the play area, making for a pleasant and convenient stroll to your destination.

Car Park 4

If you don’t mind a longer walk, you can park at Broad Ground Car Park, located in Lakeside Industrial Estate on Broad Ground Road (B98 8YS). From there, it’s about a 19-minute walk to The Boathouse, but the route takes you on a scenic stroll around the top of the lake, making it a lovely way to start your visit.

Car Park 5

Ipsley Pool Car Park (B98 7FX) is less than a 30-minute walk from The Boathouse Café and is a fantastic option if you’d like to enjoy a scenic stroll along the water before treating yourself to coffee and cake.

Car Park 6

For another stunning 30-minute walk to The Boathouse, consider parking at Redditch Wheeled Sports Hub Car Park on Icknield Street Drive (B98 8HB). It’s the perfect way to get your steps in before unwinding on the lake—just imagine how relaxing it’ll feel floating on a pedalo after your walk!

Car Park 7

If you’re looking to start a little further out, Washford Lane Car Park (B98 0HY) is a great option. This 35 minute scenic route takes you through a variety of terrains, offering a beautiful and refreshing walk—perfect for making the most of a sunny day before reaching The Boathouse.

Car Park 8

Over at our sister site, Forge Mill Needle Museum, you’ll find two convenient car parks. Take in the fascinating history of the museum before setting off along the picturesque Heritage Trail, which winds along the waterway through stunning scenery, offering a peaceful and scenic walk to Arrow Valley.


If you’d like to extend your walk a little further—or if parking is limited—you could also start from our other sister site, Abbey Stadium Leisure Centre, which it just a little further up, where additional parking may be available.
